We are writing to express our sincere appreciation for the service you and other doctors from the ESMS have provided to our family.

We consider ourselves to be regular users of the ESMS and over the past few years have been grateful to the wonderful, attentive and prompt home visits provided by your team.  

On a number of occasions we and our children have fallen seriously ill in the evening (often when it is too late to be seen by our regular GP) and have been promptly and caringly treated by you or another doctor in the convenience of our own home - when our only alternatives would have been to go to the local hospital emergency department or endure a long sleepless night until we could be seen by our local GP.

Your service is invaluable to our family and no doubt to many others.

We congratulate you and your team on your dedication and hardwork in providing this service in (what must be) difficult conditions at times. Our hope is that this service will continue for many years to come.

I am writing to thank you.

It was 4am on a Sunday and my daughter had been vomiting on and off for 2 hours. I rang your emergency service and was put through to a triage nurse as the doctor was not available.

The nurse was absolutely terrific. After a short question and answer session, she recommended I take my daughter to hospital. Thank God I did. This nurse was a lifesaver. My daughter was much sicker than I realised and spent the last 2 weeks in hospital. (she is much better)

I cannot thank you enough for providing this service.
